What a great way to end a week! A gloomy Friday afternoon was brightened when I met with the students of the AMHIA home school group at the Green Township Library. We had a good ol' time getting dirty and exploring worms. After a quick gummy worm snack break, we got busy learning all the cool things about Monarch butterflies we could (like, did you know Monarchs taste with their feet?) and then created life cycles of the Monarch Butterfly using pasta and paint pens. The students were lots of fun, got hands-on and asked interesting questions. The parents were a big help too. Thanks for inviting me to present!!
Check out the life cycles they created below!
